Behind the Yarn — My Favorite Part of This Collection

When I first started crocheting again in January, I never imagined I’d be making amigurumi (tiny stuffed designs). I swore I’d never try them — but here we are! This collection became the perfect opportunity to challenge myself creatively and learn new techniques along the way.

Some of the stitches featured include:

• Suzette Stitch – a simple, textured stitch that adds a beautiful woven look (tutorial credit)
• Popcorn Stitch – great for adding playful, raised detail (tutorial credit)
• A pattern I found online – perfect for challenging yourself to somebody else's pattern (tutorial credit)

Crocheting these designs with such a small hook (2.5 mm) and thin yarn was no easy task, but seeing each piece come together reminded me how far I’ve come.
