Chapter One
How to Layer Necklaces: The Women of the Heart Guide
Jewelry That Becomes Part of Your Story
Some jewelry is chosen for an outfit. Other pieces somehow become part of you.
They’re the necklaces you reach for without thinking. The ones that work with a sweatshirt one day and a blazer the next. The ones you wear alone until, eventually, another piece finds its way beside them.
That idea became the starting point for CHAPTER ONE — WOMEN OF THE HEART.
The women in this collection are the necklaces themselves. Each has her own name, personality and way of fitting into a jewelry collection — from shorter crystal necklaces made to sit close to the neckline to longer pearl pieces that add movement and dimension.
And while every necklace can stand on her own, this collection was designed with layering in mind.
Start Close to the Neckline
A good necklace stack doesn't need five pieces.
Start with one.
A shorter necklace or choker gives the rest of your stack somewhere to begin. The 16" chainmail chokers and 18" necklaces in Women of the Heart naturally sit higher on the chest, making them an easy foundation.
From there, you can decide whether the look needs anything else.

Now Build Your Layer
Once you have your first piece, add a necklace at a different length.
Try an 18" necklace with a 20". Add a 24" necklace when you want more separation and movement. The difference in length keeps each piece visible rather than allowing everything to fall into the same space.
You don't need a perfectly measured formula. If you can see each necklace and the stack feels balanced when you look in the mirror, you're doing it right.

Mix Your Materials
This is where things get interesting.
Pearls don't have to stay with pearls. Crystal doesn't have to stay with crystal.
Women of the Heart brings together chainmail, freshwater pearls, crystal accents and hand-crocheted metallic details so the pieces can play against one another.
A little contrast keeps a stack from feeling too coordinated.
Try polished chain beside freshwater pearls. Pair something delicate with something with a little more weight. Or mix a new piece with jewelry you've already had for years.
The goal isn't to recreate a set.
It's to build something that feels like yours.

Don't Forget the Neckline
Your clothes are part of the stack too.
A lower neckline gives shorter necklaces room to become the focus. A crewneck or turtleneck can make a longer necklace stand out. An open button-down or blazer creates space for several lengths at once.
Instead of choosing your jewelry after you're completely dressed, try building the two together.
Sometimes changing the necklace length is all an outfit needs.

And Sometimes, Wear Just One
Layering is an option — not a requirement.
Some days, one necklace is enough.
That's part of why the women were designed as individual pieces first. Each has her own personality and can hold her own without needing another necklace beside her.
Wear one today. Add another tomorrow. Pair her with something already in your jewelry box next week.
There aren't many rules here.
